Having returned from Europe after two spells across Spain and Italy, Michael has completed coach education under both UEFA & AFC Football Federations, having gained experience in working alongside UEFA Pro Licensed staff.
Working closely with parent academy, FC Malaga City, the FCCC Program aims to mirror the football philosophy and playing style as seen abroad. This player development philosophy is something unseen in the ever - developing culture of Australian football, and will provide an insight into the day to day practices at the highest level.
Working closely with elite players at FCMC in an unrivalled fixture program, featuring sides as Manchester City, Atletico De Madrid, FC Barcelona and others, Michael has since signed at Canberra Olympic FC, of which he has seen a successful first season, guiding them to the NPL Finals Series of 2019.
Having represented the Macedonian U19 National Team in the 2016/2017 season, Nicholas has experienced numerous spells across Spain, Macedonia and Australia, having played for the Sub19 Cultural y Deportivo Leonesa, who at the time were competing in the La Liga 2 at Senior Level.
Furthering his education by becoming a Qualified Personal Trainer, and undertaking studies in Exercise Science, Nicholas holds an important role in the program by working closely with players both on and off the pitch, as a mentor and coach.
His most recent roles have seen him assist Academy Director Michael Zakoski at Canberra Olympic, where he also featured in the side at CB. Nick will resume his role in the side in the upcoming U23, 2020 Season at Canberra Olympic.
From travelling to India with Australian National Cricketer Michael Clarke, to shooting weddings across Australia, Michael brings an extensive range of knowledge in photography, videography and social media.
Currently working full time at the Department of Environment as a photographer, he also runs his own photography business, specialising in the production of wedding photography, events and portraits.
In addition to his photography endeavours, Michael also currently plays for Canberra Olympic FC in the ACT NPL 1, and brings a wealth of experience in the highest level of local football. In recent years, Michael has heavily featured in 3 x U20 NPL Finals Series, having also received U20 Player of the Season in 2019.
